Not much to report, the team continued their progress to Cisterna di Latina where I would pick them up after I finally finished getting a substitute van from the rental company and purchasing the last replacement goods.
When I left Rome to reconnect with the team I made a quick stop at a “second hand” market, located not far from the Appia Antica, were I noticed some items that were stolen from us, Etruscan and other shoes made by Anna, a roman military bag from Erik and a lot of my contact lenses. I bought the lot for 25,00 euro and made Anna and Erik very happy.
Late in the evening I picked up Anna, Erik and Pedro at a coffee bar in Cisterna di Latina and after discussing al the events and a new plan having a few beers and potato chips we left for our hotel at Latina Scalo. A pizza in a deserted restaurant in the middle of nowhere and off to bed.
